Is The Air In Your Home Clean?

Did you know that the average American home collects up to 40 pounds of dust every year? Most of this dust is deposited into your air ducts and circulated across your home via the air vents.

Air ducts and other parts of the ventilation system in your home provide an important function besides keeping your home warm or cool. They circulate fresher, safer, and healthier air.  Fresh air emitting through clean air ducts and vents enhances airflow efficiency, reduces allergens and irritants, removes unpleasant smells and odors, helps your family breathe easier, facilitates an overall healthier living environment, and reduces energy costs.

If you notice a different smell, more dust particles than usual when you turn on your system,  or you just finished some remodeling or construction work,  it might be time  to call a professional.  The EPA recommends cleaning ductwork as needed, and most professionals recommend cleaning every 3 -5 years depending on how often you use the system.

Our Process Cleans and Sanitizes

Alameda has been cleaning air ducts and dryer vents for the past decade, which includes air duct sanitizing. We have seen a significant increase in requests for this service with the onset of the Coronavirus and requests continue to rise when smoke from out lying fires drift in during our summer months. Our new air duct sanitizing system kills 99.99% of viruses (including Coronavirus), bacteria, mold, and mildew.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Many dryer vent problems stem from an accumulation of lint and other debris that can clog the vent line, and, in turn, decrease efficiency, increase drying time, and create a hidden fire hazard in your home or business. Clogged dryer vents increase the risk of house fires, carbon monoxide poisoning and contribute to higher energy costs. Cleaning your dryer vent will not only decrease these risks but may even extend the life of your dryer. When we clean your air ducts and vents, we include cleaning most dryer vents in the cost of our visit.
